Training

First thing, we start training you in a specialty, making you a Craftsman if you're not already.  Then you learn a Secondary while you build, and as quickly as possible, take on Master status.  You invested in us -- now that you're at the Academy, we're investing in in you.

Train, build, train, build...it's kind of a way of life with us.

Cadets learn ship handling, navigation, and several other skills.  They also have a larger catalog of courses they can take.

A Lion Cub will usually find that under the training and work load, supported by extremely good nutrition and a healthy living environment, their mind and body will quicken and sharpen dramatically.  Because the mind is always and only the servant of the emotions, emotional health and self-control will be constantly trained; they are ESSENTIAL to the Christian life, Sea Lion or otherwise.  A mind under the control of emotions that are not under control is a very dangerous thing, to its owner and those around him.
